An event spread across the lands of Langhe, Monferrato, and Roero to experience the magic of Christmas
From 15 November to 21 December 2025, immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere in Asti, Govone, and San Damiano d’Asti, united in an enchanting itinerary of tradition, art, and magic.
Piazza Alfieri in Asti will host a charming Christmas market with 130 wooden chalets, offering artisanal products, traditional gastronomy, and delicious street food to enjoy local flavors. In San Damiano d’Asti, the Living Nativity Scene will bring ancient crafts to life, featuring costumed figures and the evocative sound of bagpipers in the historic village cellars.
At the Royal Castle of Govone, the full magic of Christmas will shine once again. Surrounded by a romantic enchanted village, the town will turn into a fairy-tale snow globe, welcoming elves, shows, and attractions for all ages. Discover the new musical at Santa Claus’s House, and for the little ones, the Elf School, where they can become Santa’s perfect helpers!
During your visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Castle, explore the noble halls beautifully decorated with Christmas scenes. The “Christmas at the Royal Castle” exhibition will be open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 15 November to 21 December, from 10:00 to 18:45, lasting approximately 25 minutes. It will also be open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 11:45 and from 15:00 to 17:30 (last entry). Please note that on Thursdays and Fridays only the Castle will be open, while the market and other shows will be available on weekends.
