One Voice, One Story, One Fall: The Human and Artistic Arc of Amy Winehouse Told by ORTIKA
Thanks to Batelman, the Royal Castle of Govone opens its walls to a new, powerful scenic narrative: Sunday, July 13 brings “Amy & Blake – A Concert for the Last Words of Love”, a tragicomic musical performance created by the nomadic theatre company ORTIKA.
An intense, disillusioned tribute to the global icon Amy Winehouse, symbol of absolute talent and deeply human fragility. A theatrical and musical journey that combines text, song, physical action, and memory to portray not only the artist, but above all the woman: young, witty, vulnerable, excessive, and profoundly authentic.
A Show about Addiction, Love, and Limits
Conceived and directed by Alice Conti, with text by Chiara Zingariello, Amy & Blake is born from meticulous documentary research that is anything but celebratory, where storytelling and performance intertwine with live songs. Amy’s voice—both the real and the inner—becomes the echo of a generation and its anxieties.
On stage: Alice Conti and live music by Lorenzo Zanghielli.
Costumes: Eleonora Duse
Lights: Alice Colla
A Special Event in Govone (CN)
After more than ten years of touring in Italy and abroad, the show arrives at the Royal Castle of Govone for a unique evening, as part of the summer lineup of performative events of Govone On Stage. A proposal that weaves together theatre, music, and memory in perfect balance between beauty, fragility, and resilience.
