On Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the 26th edition of Tulipani a Corte returns to the Royal Castle of Govone, the event dedicated to the spectacular blooming of wild tulips in the historic park of the Savoy residence.
A highly anticipated event celebrating the arrival of spring between Langhe and Roero, a UNESCO heritage landscape that every year attracts visitors, families and nature lovers.
During the day it will be possible to visit the Royal Castle of Govone, walk through the blooming park and take part in numerous activities for all ages.

The protagonist of Tulipani a Corte is the Tulipa oculus solis praecox Ten, a rare spontaneous tulip variety now protected by a regional law because it is at risk of extinction.
In the park of the Royal Castle of Govone this Mediterranean species has found an ideal habitat and every year, between late March and early April, it offers an extraordinary natural spectacle.
The slopes and paths of the park turn deep red thanks to the wild tulips, blending with the blue of muscari and the light blue of periwinkles. A true natural palette that makes the historic park of the Castle of Govone one of the most charming places to visit in spring in the Langhe and Roero.
The tulip “Eye of the Sun”, named by the botanist Jean Florimont Boudon de Saint-Amans in the 18th century, was also illustrated by the famous botanical painter Jean Paul Redouté in the work Les Liliacées.
Originally from the Far East, the tulip arrived in Europe in the 16th century and quickly spread in the gardens of European courts. Even today, walking through the park of the Castle of Govone during the blooming season evokes the atmosphere of the ancient Savoy summer retreats, when the residence hosted receptions and gatherings of the court of King Carlo Felice of Savoy and Queen Maria Cristina.

Cross through time as you explore the Castle’s rooms.
Initially a noble palace, then a royal residence, and finally a community hub for all the people of Govone, the Castle weaves together centuries of history. Visiting it means retracing the steps that shaped it into the multifaceted—and therefore unique—place it is today.
Govone extends beyond my walls. It is an entire community that takes care of the magnificent places it inhabits. I invite you to explore everything that surrounds me: the park and the gardens, the greenhouse, the intimate rose garden, the village, and the outdoor trails immersed in nature, which you can explore on foot or by bike.
