Spring at the Royal Castle of Govone comes alive with music thanks to Govone Smart Music, a series of three events that transforms the Salone delle Feste into a space of listening, emotion, and discovery.
Four Sundays, three concerts, three different artistic experiences, all connected by a single thread: the dialogue between sound, landscape, and imagination. From the lightness of spring to the evocative power of water, passing through the visionary atmospheres of twentieth-century piano repertoire, the festival takes the audience on an immersive musical journey within the unique setting of the Castle.
All concerts will take place at 5:30 PM in the Salone delle Feste.
Sunday, May 10, 2026Danilo Pastore & Vanja Contu – Il Fauno Bianco
The first event in the series is a concert presented as a true sensory experience. The voice of countertenor Danilo Pastore and the sound of the harp played by Vanja Contu intertwine in a continuous dialogue, leading the audience on a journey inspired by the theme of Spring, understood as rebirth, celebration, and transformation.
The repertoire unfolds like a secret garden: sudden blossoms, light dances, echoes of nature, poetic memories, and contemporary sounds create a path suspended between dream and reality. The program crosses different eras and musical languages, from the nineteenth century to the present day, with works by Bellini, Ravel, Sibelius, Stravinsky, and contemporary composers, ending with the piece Mushi no Koe (Voice of an Insect), inspired by the delicacy of haiku poetry.
Sunday, May 17, 2026The Rite Duo – Marco Rinaudo & Stefano Visintainer
The second concert features The Rite Duo, a four-hand piano ensemble composed of Marco Rinaudo and Stefano Visintainer.
The program stems from a refined exploration of the Italian piano repertoire between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and takes its title from two symbolic works: Pupazzetti op. 27 by Alfredo Casella and Fountains of Rome by Ottorino Respighi.
An evocative and dynamic musical journey that brings together image, movement, and storytelling, capable of recreating visionary and theatrical atmospheres. Active both in Italy and abroad, the duo offers an intense and engaging listening experience, balanced between interpretative rigor and narrative power.
Sunday, May 24, 2026Duo Andrea Vettoretti & Andrea Candeli
The third event closes the series with an immersive concert dedicated to the element of water.
The Breath of Water is a unique musical experience in which the two guitars of Andrea Vettoretti and Andrea Candeli shape an intense and evocative sound narrative. Water becomes a symbol of life, memory, and sustainability, transforming into music through a poetic dialogue of rhythm, melody, and vision.
Not just a concert, but a true sensory immersion: an invitation to experience music as both an emotional journey and a contemporary reflection, letting yourself be carried through soundscapes that evoke movement, breath, and depth.
Sunday, May 31, 2026The vocal and instrumental ensemble of “Gli Invaghiti” brings to the stage an emotional journey through the political passions and human events of the House of Savoy during the Piedmontese revolutionary uprisings of 1821. Portraits of Carlo Alberto, Santorre di Santarosa, and Carlo Felice intertwine with the melodies of the great composers of the time, such as Niccolò Paganini, offering listeners a glimpse into court life in that era, suspended between a more liberal and modern spirit and a more authoritarian government.
The performance is free of charge and can be booked on the Eventbrite channel dedicated to the series

Cross through time as you explore the Castle’s rooms.
Initially a noble palace, then a royal residence, and finally a community hub for all the people of Govone, the Castle weaves together centuries of history. Visiting it means retracing the steps that shaped it into the multifaceted—and therefore unique—place it is today.
Govone extends beyond my walls. It is an entire community that takes care of the magnificent places it inhabits. I invite you to explore everything that surrounds me: the park and the gardens, the greenhouse, the intimate rose garden, the village, and the outdoor trails immersed in nature, which you can explore on foot or by bike.
