MAY WITH “KIDS IN THE CASTLE AND ON THE HILL!” and BORN TO READ

REGALMENTE ROSA is also for the little ones with some activities dedicated to them.

Let’s discover them together 🙂

“KIDS IN THE CASTLE AND ON THE HILL!”

On Saturday, May 13, 2023, a special day in collaboration with the youth association TempoXTe and La Collina degli Elfi di Govone.

Children will have fun in the castle rooms with mysterious characters; personalize their souvenir postcard with a special stamp; create a unique rose and receive a little gift just for them.

This year, we have also thought about the parents. At the end of the castle visit, the group will walk to the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where the children will have their workshop, and the adults can relax with an aperitif provided by “La Collina degli Elfi.”

When:

Two scheduled visiting sessions: one at 10 am and one at 3 pm. The groups will consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20 children aged between 5 and 10 years.

Information and mandatory reservation via email to didattica@castellorealedigovone.it by Thursday, May 11.

Who is it for and how much does it cost:

The castle visits and workshops are free for children. The activity at Collina degli Elfi requires a minimum donation of 5 euros for adults and 3 euros for children.

NATI PER LEGGERE (BORN TO READ)

On Saturday, May 27, and Sunday, May 28, NATI PER LEGGERE in collaboration with the Biblioteca Popolare di Govone will offer dedicated readings for children in the most charming corners of the castle park.

ESPLORA

DISCOVER GOVONE

THE PARK, THE GARDENS, THE VILLAGE, AND THE HIKING PATHS

Govone extends beyond my walls. It is an entire community that takes care of the magnificent places it inhabits. I invite you to explore everything that surrounds me: the park and the gardens, the greenhouse, the intimate rose garden, the village, and the outdoor trails immersed in nature, which you can explore on foot or by bike.

The park, inhabited by squirrels, woodpeckers, jays, embraces the castle all around with its hedges of boxwood, beech trees, elms, and cypresses.

The gardens gather and showcase Maria Cristina's passion for botany, particularly for roses, displaying various splendid antique varieties.

The historic center extends the visit beyond the castle walls, revealing the authenticity of a village that, while continuing to live, preserves its memory.

The trails lead you along the edges of the constellation of which the castle is the protagonist, through fields, vineyards, and hazelnut groves, allowing you to discover the land.
