Over the last millennium, I have experienced different eras, habits and customs, in a succession of life that intertwines and expresses itself on my walls, on my frescoed vaults, in the creaking of my floors. My heart beats stronger than ever, mixed with life, contamination and experimentation.
Ways of being that have always belonged to me, from the time of the Counts Solaro to that of the Savoy royal family and that, within my walls, find their most natural expressive space even today, thanks to your presence.
I am castle. I am home. I am hamlet. I am school. I am community. I am history, culture, art, territory, nature.
This is what I offer you today: a unique journey into the authentic memory of all that has been, up to here. I work daily to build the memory of tomorrow, with sensitivity, respect and dedication.

The Royal Castle of Govone reopens for the 2024 season on 1 March, with visits available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Restoration work is underway and special events such as ‘Tulips at Court’ on 24 March and a ‘May Regally Pink’ are announced.
Since 2015, the Govone Residenza Sabauda Association has been dedicated to obtaining resources for the restoration interventions carried out on me. Thanks to the support of the European Social Fund, the Ministry of Culture, and the CRC, CRT, and Compagnia di San Paolo Foundations, much has already been accomplished over the years, and there are still many future projects ahead.
Govone extends beyond my walls. It is an entire community that takes care of the magnificent places it inhabits. I invite you to explore everything that surrounds me: the park and the gardens, the greenhouse, the intimate rose garden, the village, and the outdoor trails immersed in nature, which you can explore on foot or by bike.
